PP
Polypropylene(PP) is an economical alternative to HDPE or ABS. It provides considerable thermal resistance and excellent chemical resistance with moderate strength.
PP possesses a good strength to weight ratio and due to its hard, high gloss surface, polypropylene is ideally suited to environments where there is concern for bacteria build up that can interfere with flow. Polypropylene sheets can be heat formed, shaped and welded to fabricate ducts, hoods and much more.
Polypropylene is not UV stabilized, but meets FDA standards. Polypropylene has a 0.90 density, rigid with fair impact resistance and very good abrasion resistance. It is the choice plastic for containers due to its easy manufacturability, impact resistance and low cost.
Natrual color of PP semi-finished products, rod, sheet etc. is milky white, also available in opaque white.
